As November 10th draws near, manure application draws to a close for another calendar year. Given that we’re having some of our nicest weather for the year right now, there are some who are eager to keep spreading. Under section 14(5) of the Livestock Manure and Mortalities Management Regulation, an extension may be granted:

14(5) Where the director considers it appropriate considering local soil and weather conditions, he or she may by order vary the dates provided for in subsection (1) in relation to any part of the province that is stated in the order.
