Jay Whetter’s blog pointed me to this amusing Christmas Carol take on applying urea to frozen ground. Our clients and the government have been more concerned with the effects of applying manure to frozen ground, but it’s worth remembering that winter application is not a good idea for commercial fertilizers as well.
